It suggests that the air around you will be the temperature reading you get. Inside the house? Inside your car? No!! It goes by your GPS location and what the local weather station has listed online. It makes it sound like the iPhone can sense heat around you and tell you the temperature - BEWARE - that is not what you are getting. You already get an weather app that comes with the iPhone :( Dont waste your $

What is Ambient
I expected this to measure the air temperature surounding my I-touch by definition of the word "Ambient". This it does not do. It displays local weather services which I realised after downloading it and is not what I intended it for. There are other more informative weather Apps available including one loaded at purchase. I will say that it is quick and accurate.
